Portuguese Heritage Publications Held its Annual Board of Directors Meeting

Saturday January 26th, the Portuguese Heritage Publications of California held its Annual Board of Directors meeting, at the Holiday Inn Hotel in downtown San Jose. The directors reviewed the operations results for 2012, the projects on the docket through 2016 and the organization’s goals and objectives for 2013.
The Board of Directors team renewed it’s commitment to the organization’s Vision and Mission and participated in a breakout brainstorming session on the subject of PHPC’s priorities to 2013 and the tactical approaches to executing them.
The team congratulated Joe Machado for a job well done as the project coordinator for PHPC’s latest publication Power of the Spirit and welcomed new Board member Millicent Borges Accardi, a Portuguese-American poet, the author of two poetry collections: Injuring Eternity (World Nouveau) and Woman on a Shaky Bridge (Finishing Line Press chapbook).
